WHAT CAN I EXPECT THE WEATHER IN CANCUN TO BE?

The weather in Cancun is very pleasant year round.  The Daytime temperature range is 82-88 degrees farenheit, depending on the Season.  Night time in Fall and Winter months is cooler.  It is wise to pack a light jacket or sweater.  Rainfall averages less than 2 inches per month.  When it rains, it seems to shower and very quickly recover with beautiful sunshine. 


WHAT KIND OF IDENTIFICATION IS REQUIRED TO VACATION IN MEXICO?

It is necessary for US and Canadian citizens traveling to Mexico to have a valid passport.  Travelers outside the US and Canada need to check with the Mexican Consulate in your country for up to date information on ID requirements for your trip to Mexico.


HOW DO I MAKE A RESERVATION?

Give us your name, telephone number and the best time to reach you.  We will return the call to answer all your questions and complete your Palace Resort Reservation.  Once your reservation is paid in full, you will receive a Confirmation letter with your Reservation #.  You will present this letter at the front desk upon arrival.


HOW DOES THE AIRPORT/PALACE TRANSFER WORK?

After you clear Customs and retrieve your luggage you need to go directly to the airport exit. As you exit the Airport, the transportation companies are to the right.   Look for or ask for as your transportation has been arranged and paid for (including tip) with them.    Give the attendant your name, number in your party and the name of the Palace Resort where you have your reservation.  They will take care of your luggage and deliver you to the lobby of your Palace Resort destination.
The desk is located in the lobby. You need to connect with them at least 48 hours before your return trip home to confirm details of your airport transportation arrangements. (Again, this transportation is included in your all-inclusive Cancun Palace Resorts vacation package)


HOW CAN MY FAMILY GET IN TOUCH WITH ME WHILE I AM AT THE RESORT?

GOOD NEWS!  At all of our Palace Resorts you may make calls to the STATES and CANADA at NO COST to you from your room phone.
Since calls from USA to Mexico are so costly, we suggest you call your loved ones upon arrival and give them your number (for emergencies).  We will give you the direct number of your hotel.  You may call USA /CANADA as often as you wish during your stay.


AM I ABLE TO MAKE ROOM REQUESTS AND HOW ARE THEY HANDLED?

All rooms requested through All-Inclusive Cancun Palace Resorts VIP Member weeks are deluxe rooms that include double in-room Jacuzzis.  You may request your choice of two double beds or a king size bed, upper or lower floor, and best ocean view.  Please inform us if you are on your honeymoon or celebrating a special event or occasion. 
Room requests are granted by the Resort Hotel and are assigned just a few days before your arrival.  Your personal requests are valued and every effort is made to accommodate them.  However, it is important to realize all requests  are subject to availability.   When you receive your room assignment  ask to see the location of your room on the resort map before you are taken to your room.  You may request a room change if you desire.


IS THERE A DRESS CODE FOR RESTAURANTS?

One or two restaurants and Night Clubs in each Resort have an evening dress code :  long pants for men, shirt with sleeves (buttoned shirt or golf shirt); for women-no shorts or beachwear.  Shorts for men and women, dry bathing suits and cover-ups,and  sandals are  acceptable for breakfast and lunch in all restaurants.


IS THE WATER AT THE RESORTS SAFE TO DRINK?

Resort hotels in Cancun, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo regions are required to have water purification systems making it safe to drink the water eat fresh fruit and vegetables and brush your teeth with the hotel water.  You will also be provided with fresh bottled water daily in your room and in the in-room refrigerator.  Each restaurant will serve from bottled water at your table.


WHAT IF MY ROOM IS NOT READY AT CHECK-IN?

When you arrive at your Resort Hotel proceed directly to the VIP reception area.  Check-in time is generally 3:00pm, however if your room is ready, you will be taken to your room.  Otherwise you may enjoy all the facilities including the restaurants until your room is available.


IS INTERNET SERVICE AVAILABLE?

All Palace Resorts provide FREE internet service in your room.  Computers with internet service are available in the business center/coffee shop of the Resort.


CAN I EXCHANGE CURRENCY AT THE RESORT?

Yes. All the Palace Resorts accept, US currency and credit cards.  You may choose to make all charges in the Gift Shops to your room and pay with a credit card at check-out.  If you take tours and shop outside the Palace Resorts then you may wish to exchange currency (only the amount you wish to spend) at the Resort where the rate of exchange is most often the best.  The US dollar is widely accepted throughout Mexico.
